For Entertainment with an Elmo theme was so simple. The kiddos had a blast. Here are some suggestions that we used. Feel free to add some more in the comment section if you come up with more creative ideas. Share your ideas.

Pin the nose on elmo
I drew a picture of Elmo(ok I traced one) and went to staples and got 1 copy on the biggest piece of paper they had. When the kids got there…..I let them color it till Everyone arrived. After Everyone arrived I hung it on the wall. I had originally had cut out orange ovals. We played Pin the Nose on Elmo by using a blind fold and using their ears to hear me calling them to the picture where they could place the nose. (THIS was a lot better then spinning them around) It also took away time waiting in line. It was a great approach because the kids helped me call them after they had their turn.
Guess the goldfish for the adults (just for fun)
OK this wasn’t really for the kids but still was festive because it was a whole bunch of dorothy’s. We put them in a fish bowl and the winner got to take them home.
Craft Elmo hats
I bought 6 Red Hats. Then I bought Black, White and Orange foam. This was such a non-mess craft. I used precut eyes, and noses. I bought double sided tape and had the kids tape all of the eyes on and the nose. I had a mirror near by to look at them. I pretended each one was elmo. They all got a big kick out of themselves. I also copies Elmo coloring sheets and they colored till everyone was done. (vlog) coming soon!!
Decorate Cookie Monsters Cookies
So this was a favor and an activity. I bought little bags so they each could make 1 and take it home, and make 1 to eat for dessert. I bought icing and a ton of ingredients including icing, sparkly colored sugar ect. It was fun and yummy.

I am Elizabeth, and this here is my party planning frontier. I am not from the west but wish I was so I sometimes talk with a southern-drawl. (We can all dream right?) I am actually from Cape May, NJ and love to party. You can lean more about me

Your party’s sound like fun. I love Elmo!
I’m actually throwing an elmo party for my son, who is also turning two. problem is there are more adults then children present (and even then the children are all older than Solace, my son) any ideas to make the night fun for the adults and my little one all at the same time?
