Back to School Party

School is starting and for anyone that is getting ready to go to school for the first time can be really stressed out and nervous. We have some rattled nerves over here as the first day of school approaches.  Here are 5 tips that I can give you and being the Party Planning Professor the last suggestion won’t surprise you.

  • -Don’t ignore the issues. Talk about them. It’s amazing as I was researching for this post a lot of people said distract them. I really feel when it comes to first day of school issues the things they keep inside that are stressed over really have simple solutions. Talk!
  • -Experts say stress becomes a problem when the demands of an event or a situation push our capabilities in handling it. Find ways to help your child to learn to deal with stress. Write letters to people, start a journal (or blog), or even listening to music can help. How do you handle stress.
  • -Explain that everyone has fears about work, home or at school. Stress is normal. It’s OK to be scared but you can’t let it hold you back.
  • -Being tired, or hungry, or feeling rushed can take their toll on everyone. Make sure the changes taken place aren’t distracting from these aggravators.
  • -Celebrate the stress or find a reason to celebrate. Over in the Norton house we are stressing about the first day of school. Starting today we are
