Depending on the age of the child the invitation making or buying can be a definite plus. Stay alert and stay alive around Christmas time because trains are festive during that time. There is always the chance that you can find train blank holiday cards with trains or train note book paper.

Make train tickets that look authentic. Be sure to write the words Admit one:Round trip ticket on the back and give one to “each” kid attending (collect at the door)
