So you just got engaged!
Well first of all, congratulations! You are, and you should be very excited to begin this new journey of life with your husband to be!
Your wedding day is a very important day, and should be perfect! Well.. almost. My biggest piece of advice that I will continuously give is to not freak out if something that wasn’t planned happens! No matter how much you plan, something unexpected will probably happen! You really just have to take it in stride and go with the flow!
Planning a wedding is definitely an exciting adventure, but it can also cause a lot of stress for everyone involved. You need patience and creativity to get through the planning process, and beyond. I’ll be covering everything I can including Announcements and Invitations, favors, choosing your rings, dress, bridal shower favors, theme weddings, and receptions.
Be sure you start as far in advance as possible. The longer you have to plan, the better the chances of getting the caterer, venue and everything else you really want for your event! Ask your friends and family for as much help as possible. Chances are, they’re just as excited and willing to help out! Keep a checklist! It’ll help you keep track of where you are in the planning process. Relax, breathe, and most of all, remember to have fun!

I am Elizabeth, and this here is my party planning frontier. I am not from the west but wish I was so I sometimes talk with a southern-drawl. (We can all dream right?) I am actually from Cape May, NJ and love to party. You can lean more about me
